Dr. Christie Lee
Dr. Christie Kim Lee, known as Dr. Christie to her patients and families, comes from a diverse background, having lived in over 7 different states and 3 countries. She was born in Southern California, but has spent a large portion of her adult life on the east coast, before moving to the Greater Seattle area in 2014 when her husband accepted a position at Seattle Children’s Hospital as a Pediatric Gastroenterologist, where he leads the Nutrition and Celiac Program of the hospital.
She graduated from the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar with an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. Upon graduation, she took time to explore dentistry working as a dental assistant for one of the oldest, largest and most respected pediatric dental practices in the Northern Virginia area. This is where she fell in love and developed a passion for pediatric dentistry and decided to continue her education. She received her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania where she had the privilege to work in an honors clinic for Medically Complex Patients. She continued on to train specifically in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental School, University of Maryland Medical Center, Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Hospital, and had the opportunity to be part of the Cleft and Craniofacial Team at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Christie has been in private practice for 10 years serving a wide and diverse range of populations, from not only east to west coast of the United States, but also within the greater Seattle area. This has given her greater perspective and experience in working in a wide range of situations and with diverse populations, and the opportunity to learn and appreciate the unique needs that exist for each family.
Her heart for serving children expands beyond the borders of the US, as she goes on medical mission trips serving the children of Cabo, Mexico by partnering with the non-profit Amigos de los Ninos
She is passionate about empowering parents through education and is a strong advocate for utilizing and prioritizing nutrition and preventive medicine in oral health. She believes that empowering parents with confidence when making decisions for their children lies at the core of thriving children.
Dr. Christie loves learning, both about personal growth and dentistry, as she strives to be her best self to serve others well, whether it is in her role as a mom, wife, or dentist. This is why, outside of the dental office, if she is not exploring kid friendly places in Seattle with her husband and son, she is likely learning about something or working on her health.
