Dr. Brenda Huynh
Dr. Brenda Huynh grew up in California and completed her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology at the University of California, Irvine. She then moved across state to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated magna cum laude of her class. She continued her professional training with two years of general practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she served as the chief resident during her last year. During her chief year, she devoted her time to seeing children and knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her career working with them.
She completed an additional two years of advanced postgraduate specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Jacobi Medical Center and Rose F. Kennedy Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center in New York. This extended specialty training has provided her with a solid foundation of knowledge on delivering dental care to all children, including those special needs and medically compromised conditions. Within a year of graduating from residency, Dr. Huynh was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, distinguishing her as a board certified pediatric dentist.
Dr. Huynh’s practice philosophy is centered on promoting preventive and individualized care for each child to create a healthy dental home. With her light-hearted approach, she has been able to put children of all ages at ease and help them to truly love visiting the dentist.
Dr. Huynh stays up-to-date with the latest in pediatric dentistry by maintaining active memberships with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Washington State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Megan Burns
Dr. Megan Burns (or Dr. Megan as she is known by her patients) was born and raised in Seattle, WA. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Colorado College and then went on to earn her DDS degree from the University of Southern California in 2010. Following her DDS training, she completed a 12 month post-graduate residency training program in a federally qualified health clinic in Walla Walla, WA and earned her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) certificate along with providing care to some of the most needy residents of Washington state. It was in this setting that Dr. Megan began her training in sedation dentistry for children.
Following this program, Dr. Megan went on to complete a 25-month, hospital-based residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Rady Children's Hospital, San Diego, overseen by UCLA School of Dentistry. While a resident at Rady's, she served as an integral part of the hospital's multi-disciplinary teams for the purpose of providing care to severely medically compromised children and special-needs patients. Additionally, she trained in the use of several different modalities of sedation dentistry for children, including providing full-mouth restorative dentistry for patients under general anesthesia
Upon completion of her residency training, Dr. Megan began working in private practice on the island of Coronado (off the coast of San Diego) and ran the pediatric dental department at Indian Health Council, Rincon (outside of San Diego County). After almost three years of working in Southern California, she decided it was time to return to her hometown of Seattle, WA so that she could live closer to her brother, sister-in-law and her parents and enjoy her favorite area of the country, the great Pacific Northwest! Dr. Megan is very proud to announce she recently completed a voluntary, two-part examination process (over the course of two years) in order to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Board certification is a voluntary pursuit, and it is undertaken to demonstrate to the public that Dr. Megan practices with the requisite knowledge, skills and experience to meet an industry-leading standard of excellence in patient care.
Outside of her work, Dr. Megan organized the Seahawks fan group of San Diego and still loves rooting for her favorite home-town team! Additionally, Dr. Megan felt extremely grateful for the opportunity to volunteer with the UCSD Flying Samaritans, a group with which she crossed the border to Baja, MX to provide dental care for desperately needy children while teaching and mentoring undergraduate college students at UCSD who were considering dentistry as a profession.
In her free time, Dr. Megan enjoys spending time with her French bulldog, Lulu; hiking, camping, road-tripping, traveling the world and, of course, watching the Seahawks!
